How do I get my film on Art House Cinema?
Are you interested in having your film hosted on the The Art House Cinema website? If so, please follow the link below and complete the Form. Please note that we don’t accept every film that is submitted. In general we are looking for films that meet one or more of the following criteria listed:
Working on a DYI or grassroots level
Working with a Low/No Budget financing model
Experimenting with stylistic and formal norms of film in the art cinema and indie vein
Creating complex, three dimensional characters with empathy (whether they are likable or not)

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:
Once you fill out the form we’ll build your film’s page to include all the information you’ve included in the form. So feel free to leave any fields blank that you don’t want included on your films page.
If at any time you want to take your film down or need a revision to your page, just email us at arthousecinema@protonmail.com and we’ll do our best to take care of your issue as soon as possible.
If we accept your film, we may not post it immediately. Every film that goes up on the website will be announced in an email that goes out to all subscribers, and we’ll make sure to pace our releases so that each new film spends time as the featured film on the site.
If we accept your film, please promote it on your socials and encourage people not only to check out your film, but to subscribe to the site (and subscribe yourself!). Subscriptions are our major path to growth and are FREE. The bigger the community of subscribers the more that every filmmaker on the site benefits.
Since subscriptions are free, the main form of monetization for films is for individuals to include links to their individual payment service accounts (such as PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App). You can include these in the submission form. 100% of the money goes straight to you. We take no cut whatsoever.
Please note that your film must be hosted on Vimeo. We don’t host the video on the Art House Cinema site. This gives you more control over the appearance of your video, allows you to track viewing data, allows you to replace your video with an updated version if needed, and allows you to take down the video whenever you wish (though please notify us so we can remove your page). We recommend that in your film’s Vimeo settings, you turn off as many “presentation” options as possible so that the appearance of your film is as clean as possible. Also, please remember to turn off password requirements, and turn off the ability to download the film (assuming you don’t want viewers to download your film).
